When you find something you want to buy, click the BUY button. This will send a message to the seller letting them know that you're interested in their item.

Sellers have 72 hours to accept or reject a buyer's request. If they take no action within 72 hours, we will automatically cancel your request. We do this to protect you. It prevents situations in which you request to buy an item, forget about it, and the seller accepts a long time later.

IMPORTANT: When you request to buy an item, no money is taken out of your account. Your bank will “pre-authorise” the payment, which means they earmark the money for this purchase. It does not leave your account.

Money will only leave your account if the seller accepts your request within the 3 day window.

If the seller rejects your request, or they do not respond within 3 days, you do not need to request a refund. No money has actually been withdrawn from your account. Your bank will automatically remove the pre-authorisation and the funds will become available again soon. The exact amount of time it takes to remove the pre-authorisation will depend on your bank, but it shouldn’t be more than a few days.
